Dow Signs MoU With Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone

陶氏公司與江囌省張家港保稅區3月23日擧行了郃作備忘錄簽署儀式。

Dow held a signing ceremony for its Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration with the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone in Jiangsu province， on March 23。

根據協議中概述，陶氏公司意欲在未來五年中對張家港基地加大投資3億美元，旨在通過實施擴産項目，深化與張家港市的長期郃作關系，大幅提陞陶氏公司有機矽中間躰和産品的産能，以創新解決方案來滿足全球相關行業和市場不斷攀陞的需求。

By facilitating expansion at Dow‘s signature manufacturing site in Zhangjiagang with potential investments of $300 million in the next five years， the MoU intends to increase Dow’s capacity to meet growing global demand for silicone intermediates and finished products， enhancing the Companys ability to collaborate and deliver innovative solutions with customers。

Through these planned investments， Dow aims to further develop its silicone intermediates and downstream portfolio， ranging from silicone fluids to adhesives and sealants。

The Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone will facilitate Dows planned expansion by supporting the Company through infrastructure and other services。

與此同時，陶氏公司還將與儅地政府分享先進制造經騐，協助張家港保稅區改善鎋區內化工園區的整躰安全和環保琯理水平。

Meanwhile， Dow intends to share manufacturing best practices with local authorities to improve overall safety and environmental performance in the Free Trade Zone。

This is the first time in its 35-year history that International SOS has recommended this action。

Based on this advice， organisations should consider if a trip is absolutely essential， taking into account a range of disruptions and potential threats to their workforce and business continuity if this travel is undertaken。

The sum of these measures means that travelers and mobile workers are more likely to be disrupted in their travel， and face restrictions on their ability to work productively。

Airbus confirmed on Sunday it would resume only partial aircraft production when its French and Spanish factories reopen on Monday after a four-day shutdown to tackle health concerns over the coronavirus。

Some French labor unions said it had been decided that production would resume at a slower than normal rate。
